Funding to support the Department of Interior's effort to establish a program to plug, remediate, and reclaim orphaned wells located on Federal land.

Eligible Uses

The Department is working through a number of options to use these funds to conduct scientific research on methane emissions and other hazards associated with orphan oil and gas wells.
