To establish a program to demonstrate the technical and economic viability of carrying out clean energy projects on current and former mine land.

  3. Geothermal
  4. Direct Air Capture
  5. Fossil-fueled electricity generation with carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration
  6. Energy storage, including pumped storage hydropower and compressed air storage
  7. Advanced nuclear technologies
